FedMatch Strategies Awarded Virginia SWaM Certification
Marketing and Communications Strategy Firm Receives
Dual-Certification as Both Small and Women-Owned

January 6, 2010 (McLean, VA)—FedMatch Strategies, a Virginia marketing and communications strategy firm serving Government contractors, Government agencies, and advertising and consulting firms, was awarded dual- certification status as a SWaM (Small, Women, and Minority-Owned) Small and Woman-Owned business by the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Department of Minority Business Enterprise. The certifications enable the company to compete for procurement opportunities designated in whole or in part for either Small or Woman-held concerns in Virginia.

“Certification as a Woman-Owned business unlocks a wide variety of new opportunities for the company,” states Traci Robinson-Williams, President. “We will use the dual-certifications to directly pursue opportunities within Virginia and to strengthen existing partnerships with complementary firms to support our internal growth strategy.”

Procurement agents of state agencies as well as other public entities and private corporations use the SWaM program to identify for acquisition products and services provided by certified vendors. The SWaM designation is valid for three years after initial certification.
